2016

Imbue—to saturate with meaning—derives from the Latin imbuere—to saturate with water—and is a perfect description of my February/2016 exhibition at Waterstone Gallery. Imbue/Imbuere features paintings of invented water words and their meanings (from the ongoing series Future Dictionary of Water), and of life that exists at the boundaries of land and water.
